Sunday 12 June, 10AM-3.30PMThis day is designed to be a mini-retreat, and we will spend most of it in silence. You will be guided in various mindfulness practices, including some that you may not have practiced before. We invite you to come along with an open mind and just experience the day as it unfolds, always remembering to take care of yourself and to listen in to your own needs.
The silence supports the process of looking into and learning to be with ourselves more fully. It helps us to become more intimate and familiar with the actual comings and goings of our own thoughts, feelings and body sensations, without the distraction of talking. I will be available throughout the day to answer any questions or concerns that may arise.
We will ask for all mobile phones to be switched off for the duration of the day. If this is absolutely impossible please do talk to us and we can come to an arrangement whereby you are able to check your phone without disturbing other participants.
You will be able to bring your lunch, a drink and any snacks with you so that you don’t have to leave the retreat.
It’s useful to wear loose comfortable clothing in layers so you can adjust your temperature for lying, sitting and movement.
Chairs, yoga mats, cushions and blankets will be provided. However, please also feel free to bring your own blanket and/or meditation cushion if you wish.

Please do a lateral flow test on the morning of the retreat. Refunds will be made available to those unable to attend due to health reasons.
